Brisbane Dive Academy is the first dive centre in Queensland, and only the second in Australia, to go 100% AWARE. We pledge our ongoing commitment to ocean protection through our actions.

Brisbane Dive Academy commits to the environment  by joining with Project AWARE and integrating ocean protection priorities into our diver education programme and helping to fund critical conservation initiatives at the same time.

We are taking part in a programme that will ensure all of our student divers receive the Project AWARE version of their PADI certification card.

100% AWARE donations will target protection for the world’s most threatened shark species and the removal and prevention of marine debris from treasured underwater environments. Together we can make ocean protection a reality.

Did you know?

• Less than 1% of our ocean is protected.
• 7% of all PADI divers choose to support ocean protection initiatives by making a minimum donation to receive the Project AWARE version of their PADI certification card.

Brisbane Dive Academy has received the PADI Green Star award for our contribution to reducing our carbon footprint. We are the first and only dive centre in Australia to have achieved this.

This award is based on a recent audit that was undertaken on our conservation and efforts to reducing our environmental footprint.

It takes into account not only our commitment to being environmentally responsible, but also our promotion of diver continuing education of environmentally sound diving practices through courses such as the "Project AWARE Specialty" and "AWARE Coral Reef Conservation".

What is Certegy Ezi-Pay Express?

What are the set up fees and charges for an Ezi-Pay Express plan?

When you make your initial purchase, Certegy will open an Account for you. With this initial purchase you will pay a once off establishment fee between $35 and $80 to set up your account, which is payable over the term of the plan. The Account will provide you access to online information about your purchase(s), credit schedules, access to our 1800 customer call in facility and other benefits. There is a monthly account keeping fee of $ 2.90 which will be direct debited whilst your account remains active.

Are there any other charges?

There is a $2.80 payment processing fee to process each repayment. Please remember that your payment plan is NO INTEREST EVER!* Please refer to the “Terms and Conditions” in store for further details.

Can I close my Account and are there any charges?

Once your purchase(s) have been paid in full and your account balance is zero you can cancel via written notice to Certegy. There are NO additional fees for closing your Account or paying out early.

What do I need to apply for a payment plan?

Please refer to the “Terms and Conditions” in store

• To be over 18 years of age and be a permanent resident of Australia.
• To be employed on a Full-Time basis working 35 hours or more or be an Aged or Veterans Pensioner.
• To have a bank account or credit card in your name with documentation showing proof of ownership ie bank statement – Sorry EFTPOS cards are not suitable as they can not be debited.
• To provide suitable identification.
